Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
I'm almost done with this Harry Potter book, I only have about 100-150 more pages! So far Harry has been having horrible dreams about this special door at the Misitry of Magic. Dumbledore thinks that Voldermort maybe be possessing Harry and because of that he orders Professor Snape to teach Harry Occulmency. This study is suppose to help Harry block out these dreams. When Harry went to his first lesson, Snape didn't even tell him what to do and hit him with a curse. Harry wasn't ready for it and had severve pain in his scar. I think Snape did that on purpose, knowing Harry wasn't going to be ready. Snape is always so mean to him that I'm glad I don't have a teacher or professor like that in my life. Harry has to deal with Snape almost everyday. I like going to school a lot, and if I knew that I had to go to Hogwarts and deal with this teacher, then I'd do my best not to have him. The reason Snape is so mean to Harry went unnoticed, until Harry found out. When Snape left the room, Harry looked inside his pensive, full of all his memories, and saw one with his father in it. His father teased Snape so much that I can understand why Snape would not like his son. But, to Harry's misfortune, Snape doesn't know that Harry isn't like that at all! When I read the part about the pensive, I felt so bad for Professor Snape. I finally came to realize why Snape is so dreaded and mean, it's because of his childhood. I always thought that Harry's father was this heroic man, but really he was mean and teased everyone, especially Snape's. Harry's reaction was quite like mine.

Harry had no idea what to do so he wanted to talk to Sirius to see if his father was really like that. Dumbledore is now not the headmaster of the school, but guess who is....Professor Umbridge of course. She is annyoing me so much that I wish the story could be different, but I can't change the book. Harry had to sneak into her office to use the fire to talk to Sirius because Umbridge secured the whole school. The first time through, it worked but the next time, Harry got caught by her. I think Umbridge is just out to get Harry and that is her total mission. She is the most annoying character in the book and I really wish she weren't in it. On the other hand, she makes the reader more excited to continue to read the book and find out when she's going to strike next, that's about the only good thing about her. I just can't seem to realize why anyone wouldn't like Harry Potter! I predict that Professor Umbridge will strike again, but in a worst manner possible, the only thing is, I'm not sure when that is going to happen because the year is almost over. I know I'm not the only one who doesn't like Umbridge, all the teachers don't. Speaking of teachers, she fired Hagrid and that really stirred up attention at Hogwarts. I really hope that Professor Umbridge will not be in the last book, but she probably will appear in it, because J.K. Rowling is an amazing writer.
